How we collect, use, and protect the information you submit when selling your store through Hustleman Capital.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the store-acquisition intake flow at hustlemancapital.com/sell-your-store (the "Acquisition Flow"). It explains what information we collect from sellers who submit a store for sale, how we review it, who can access it, and how you can request deletion. It does not apply to other Hustleman Capital products such as sports picks, credit resources, or investment deals, which are covered by separate policies.
When you submit your store, we collect your full name, email address, and phone number. We use these details solely to contact you about your submission, to deliver a valuation or offer, and to coordinate the diligence and closing process if we move forward. We do not publish your contact information and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
You may provide your store URL so our team can review the public-facing storefront. Reviewing a URL does not give us any access to your Shopify admin, customer data, or backend. Any access to your Shopify admin is granted by you, on a read-only basis, only if you choose to proceed to diligence.
You share details about your store's payout schedule, store age, total verified sales volume, completed payouts, recent payout dates, payout holds or reserves, and open disputes. This financial information is used to calculate an indicative valuation and to assess whether your store qualifies for an acquisition. Figures you provide are verified against documentation during diligence before any offer is finalized.
You may upload a screenshot of your Shopify Payouts → Balance screen (and, if you choose, other supporting files). These uploads are used to verify the payout history you reported. Please upload only screenshots and documents that belong to you and relate to your own store. Do not upload documents belonging to other businesses or third parties.
Your submission is reviewed only by members of our acquisitions team. We do not list your store on a marketplace, syndicate your information to outside buyers, or shop your details around. If we move forward, deeper diligence is conducted under a signed confidentiality agreement, using read-only access that you control and can revoke.
To operate the Acquisition Flow we rely on a small set of service providers: a cloud application and database hosting provider, a file-storage provider that holds your uploaded screenshots and documents, and an email delivery provider used to notify our team of new submissions. Each provider is bound by contractual confidentiality and is used only for the purpose of operating and securing the Acquisition Flow. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with marketing partners.
Uploaded screenshots and documents are stored with a reputable cloud file-storage provider. Files are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and access is restricted to authorized members of our acquisitions team. We follow industry-standard access controls, but no internet-based storage can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
We retain your submission and uploaded files only for as long as needed to evaluate your store, complete diligence if we move forward, and comply with any legal or record-keeping obligations. If we do not move forward, your submission data and uploaded files are deleted within 90 days of the final decision. If we complete an acquisition, relevant records are retained for the period required to document the closed transaction and satisfy tax and accounting requirements.
You can request deletion of your submission and uploaded files at any time by emailing us using the contact details below. We will remove your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where we are legally required to retain specific records. Submitting a deletion request does not affect any information already incorporated into a signed purchase agreement or required for tax/legal compliance.
We may use analytics tools to understand how the Acquisition Flow is used (for example, page views, drop-off points, and submission completion), and we may use advertising tracking to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These tools may collect IP address, device type, browser, and general usage data. They do not give us access to the contents of your submission or your uploaded files. You can control tracking through your browser settings and through the opt-out mechanisms provided by the analytics and advertising partners.
Never upload passwords, API keys, Shopify staff or collaborator credentials, customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, phone numbers), order-level customer records, or any payment card data. We only need screenshots and aggregate financial summaries that belong to you and relate to your own store. If you are unsure whether something is appropriate to upload, ask us first.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected before you submit a new application.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to request deletion of your data, please contact us through our contact page at hustlemancapital.com/contact.
Reminder: Do not upload passwords, API keys, credentials, customer personal data, or payment card data. Only upload screenshots and documents that belong to you and relate to your own store.
